Why I like AHG
I like AHG because it gives you lots of learning opportunities. Through the different badges I’ve earned, I have learned everyday things like cooking, personal care, and fire safety. I also like AHG because it is helping me become a responsible person that likes to help others. As a troop, we do things like Adopt-a-Paths and working in the food pantry. This really helps me value helping others and I want to do it more and more.
I’ve stayed with AHG for so long because the longer you stay, the more you learn and grow as a person. Since I have become a Pioneer, I have built on my leadership skills. Each of us have Girl Leadership Roles that we switch out, helping us to learn what being a leader is all about. I remember being a Tenderheart and how much I looked up to the oldest girls in the troop and I am so happy that I get to be the person they look up to now.
